From self-hosted Adobe Experience Manager 6.5 to Cloud Service, plus an HCP medical site built on Veeva Vault content.
Corporate and brand sites ran on self-hosted Adobe Experience Manager 6.5 on AWS. The medical team needed an HCP site it could run itself, using content already approved in Veeva Vault.
Business Challenge
Corporate and brand sites ran on self-hosted Adobe Experience Manager 6.5 on AWS. The medical team needed an HCP site it could run itself, using content already approved in Veeva Vault.
Approach
- Refactored each codebase onto the Adobe Experience Manager Cloud archetype. Cleaned up OSGi configs, shared overlays, and resource mapping.
- Automated the GitHub to Cloud Manager sync for every site.
- Rebuilt the medical site with custom components, editable templates, a PDF viewer, and four HCP request forms.
- Pulled approved standard responses, congress presentations, manuscripts, and events straight from Veeva Vault.
- Built global, product, and publications search with filters.
- Added Google Tag Manager event tracking, consent management, and error monitoring.
- Validated redirects before launch.
- Took over the DAM and Brand Portal from a global systems integrator.
